About

Manna Station spans over 20,000 acres of farmland with a mix of grain and livestock with around 500 cows. Owner, Stuart French, spoke with a local reseller who had worked with ABC Sheds and was easily swayed to reach out to discuss his storage needs with us after exploring the shed solutions we offered. 

The Challenge

Stuart had previously purchased a fertiliser silo and was extremely unsatisfied with its storage capacity. Moisture got into the silo, causing the first Urea MAP Blend to get stuck and harden like concrete. This made it extremely difficult to get out, leading Stuart to explore other storage options. As fertiliser resellers became increasingly challenging to source, he decided to review his approach. 

The Solution

Stuart was referred to ABC Sheds by a local reseller in Forbes, who had previously purchased a shed from us. The ABC Sheds team provided prompt and professional service, offering detailed information, quotes, and a custom shed design tailored to his storage needs.

In December, Stuart placed an order for an 18m x 10m x 6m fertiliser shed. and his builder was scheduled to begin construction in March and early April. The shed is equipped with three sliding doors, each measuring 6 metres wide and 5.5m high. This allows Stuart to purchase fertiliser in bulk and store it securely for year-round use. With 3m-high bunker walls, the shed can hold approximately 14 tonnes of MAP per bunker. This enables Stuart to buy fertiliser at least three months in advance.
