This farm was spending a large amount of money per year on Urea and this motivated them to purchase a shed. By building a new shed they are now able to buy Urea and securely store it throughout the year, depending on cashflow and logistics.
The client needed a fertiliser shed built that was completely secure, yet easily accessible. Creating a secure space to hold the Urea year-round was the main priority. ABC Sheds had to create an enclosed storage shed to protect the fertiliser from the elements.
It was important to factor in that the client would want to store large amounts of Urea at a time, but there would also be times when they would need to store other things in the shed, such as machinery. This meant they needed a shed built out of something sturdy and multi-purpose, such as clearspan.
Having the sliding doors gives a greater ease of access with the loaders being able to scoop a load of Urea and transfer it to the waiting plane.
This is far more productive as the turnaround time is shorter with an increase in efficiency. The tilt panels on the walls are a massive advantage as this farm can purchase and store large quantities of Urea for some time allowing them to use it when required.
Being clearspan, when the shed is not being used for Urea storage, this farm can keep its machinery covered and secure.
