With an expensive aircraft to store, this customer got in touch about a custom storage solution for multiple planes. The hangar needed to be heavy-duty and robust so that it would stand up to tough weather conditions often found in the region. We were more than happy to supply a bespoke aircraft hangar that ticked all the boxes.
The Challenge
Whether you’re running a plane charter service or flying your hobby plane, it’s vital to have adequate storage for your aircraft to ensure they’re safe and secure. This customer understood the need to get his plane storage shed just right, which is why he approached us to provide a suitable solution.
While he needed a practical space to protect his aircraft from the weather and potential theft, he also wanted a design that was unique to his personal tastes.
Not content with having an aircraft hangar that would blend in with its surroundings, he wanted a solution that would stand out from the crowd and really draw attention. He needed a shed manufacturer that could bring these ideas to life.
The Solution
After many conversations with the customer, we had a clear understanding of what he wanted. We were able to provide an aircraft hangar that was not only practical but delivered all of the customer’s design dreams.
Completed in January 2023, we supplied a fully enclosed aircraft hangar finished in a striking COLORBOND® Monument® finish. The enclosed aircraft hangar features a personal access door so the customer can come and go as he pleases. And, with multiple sliding doors at the front of the shed, he has no trouble getting his planes in and out.
Alongside the shed, you will also find a 5m awning, perfect for additional storage space when required. The end result not only stands out but provides this customer with ample storage and a shed that can be used for many other purposes — the ultimate man cave!
